The gallery is in Burnsville in Yancey County, NC and close to the Mountain Gem and Mineral Trail of the Appalachian mountains.
Our aim is to bring fine art to the North Carolina mountains. The area has a rich history of crafts and art and has maintained many of the traditional crafts through decades. Salamander Gallery focuses more on fine art than on crafts.
The gallery features the work of artists represented by Canebranch, Inc. plus a growing number of other artists.
Sculptures in bronze are Limited Edition and come with a Certificate of Authenticity from Shidoni Foundry, NM. Shidoni Foundry is probably the premier sculpture foundry in the USA and we are proud of our relationship with them.
